Qualifications & Experience

  • BSc/MSc/PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • At least 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Solution Architect roles
  • Good understanding of fundamental design principles for a scalable application
  • Proficiency with data modeling, data architecture and data warehousing
  • Experience in designing, developing, testing and supporting real-time or batch data processing using Spark, Flink, Kafka or similar technologies
  • Experience with Hadoop components like HDFS, Hive, YARN
  • Experience with data workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, dbt or similar technologies
  • Familiarity with Presto, Trino or similar technologies
  • Experience with relational and non-relational data stores, key-value stores and search engines (Postgres, ScyllaDB, Druid, Hazelcast, Redis, Elasticsearch etc.)
  • Proficiency with Java, Scala or Python (preferred)
  • Strong unit test and debugging skills
  • Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Git

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, diagnose, and debug Dataroid’s Android SDK according to established requirements
  • Improve, extend and maintain our test, build, and deployment automation
  • Help customers tackle integration issues
  • Conducting research on ecosystem trends, and competitor analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage DevOps team, assign and monitor workflow and ensure quality and efficiency is maintained

  • Collaborate with various software engineering teams in order to discuss and understand requirements on projects to ensure release of quality applications.
  • Identify test cases that are candidates for test automation and develop test automation scripts for the selected test automation candidates
  • Support test automation framework development if needed
  • Perform various types of testing on projects when needed: manual black box, user interface, regression, functional or integration testing.
  • Develop test cases / test scenarios from requirements and design documents and ensure maximum requirement traceability
  • Work within time restraints of updated deadlines
  • Learn new technologies and apply to projects as needed
  • Reviews broken scripts or suites and helps the automation team resolve issues with the running of scripts

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Software industry experience, including QA methodologies and software testing
  • At least 3 years of experience in using any test automation tools like Selenium/Cypress, Appium/Espresso/XCUITest, Jmeter/Locust
  • Excellent understanding of test automation frameworks
  • Excellent understanding of version control systems and team collaboration tools like Git & Gerrit
  • Good understanding of software testing principles and techniques, verification and validation techniques, test automation and defect management
  • Good understanding of continuous integration tools (such as Jenkins)
  • Experience in writing test automation strategy and test plans
  • Strong familiarity with Agile Software Development Approach, Java/other OO languages, native apps and mobile environment
  • Ability to analyse crash logs, backtraces, and assist engineers by utilizing basic debugging techniques.
  • Experience with various load testing tools like Jmeter, Locust and any other Performance Monitoring tools is a plus
  • Ability to coordinate testing meetings with various stakeholders to solve various business problems
  • Able to adapt to change (flexible)
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Fluent English in both verbal and written communication
  • Being ISTQB certified is a plus
  • Being active in the open-source community is a plus

We are looking for a self-motivated and dynamic QA Engineer with technical and communication skills to contribute to a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing test basis (stories, FSD, design docs, etc.) and give feedback about whether they are testable or not
  • Creating and designing efficient test cases to provide good coverage (for both manual and automated testing)
  • Executing manual & automated tests (UI and API) for micro services, web and native apps.
  • Providing feedback to software engineering and other teams and enforce that business requirements are being met in the product
  • Taking a supportive role on continuous integration, continuous testing and release management
  • Taking an active role in all aspects of quality within the project

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BSc or MSc in Engineering or related fields.
  • Strong quality mindset, great team spirit and being detail oriented
  • Minimum of 2+ years hands on experience in QA/Test Engineering
  • Able to work in a very dynamic workplace
  • Accurate sense of analysis and synthesis to define root causes and possible solutions
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and experience in taking product definitions (use cases/stories, requirements, etc) and turning them into test cases
  • Strong familiarity with Agile Software Development Approach, Java/other OO languages, native apps and mobile environment
  • Advanced communication and persuasion skills
  • Fluent English in both verbal and written communication
  • Experience with software development tools is a plus
